Dynamic Body Balancing (DBB) techniques are grounded in the same in-depth cranialanatomy and physiology as other schools of training in CranioSacral Therapy. With the addition of Myofascial Unwinding and Biofield Therapies, DBB has become a beautiful form of hands-on therapy that restores balance to the mind, body and spirit. The primary difference from other similar forms of work is the application.
We adjust the body without chiropractic adjustments, without bone cracking or bone and muscle adjustments… We release tension in the fascia which allows the body to balance itself. When the fascia is balanced and without torsion your joins, bones and muscles will stop getting thrown out of place or hurting. Until the torsion in fascia is released, you’ll need to get constant chiropractic re-adjustments.
Myofascial unwinding and craniosacral work is very gentle. Carniosacral work does not require the client to move, while myofascial involves slow gentle movements resembling stretching.
DBB is an alternative to those who fear being adjusted by a chiropractor or who might want to end the misalignment issues in a way that might produce longer lasting results. DBB is free from bone-cracking or sudden push/pull/adjustment.
In most cases, DBB techniques are performed with the client in the “position of injury”, which is primarily seated or standing. Clients in these positions will quickly and actively allow their bodies to re-enact an injury and will move in a gentle dance with their facilitator as their tissues begin the process of restoring a state of balance and harmony within the cells of the body. Emotions stored in every cell involved in the release are allowed to surface and the client is encouraged to “breathe out” the “molecules of emotion” that no longer serve them.
Spontaneously releasing negative emotional and physical energy patterns in a self-directed, sequential pattern will lead to a more permanent resolution of long term pain and dysfunction. Removing the restrictions of gravity by initiating the release from an upright position accelerates the healing process. This saves the client time and money; something we all can appreciate.
Ethan Wise has completed the entire DBB program levels 1 to 5, hands-on workshops with Dr Carol Phillips.
Ethan continues to work and practice this skill on clients based on demand and incorporates this modality of healing along with it’s wealth of techniques into other systems that he studied or developed, combining and offering these skills as needed. What Ethan offers allows your body to balance, and then it allows your body’s innate intelligence to restore health.
